"When the tigers broke free"*
"Hey, Ashkan! What are you doing up there?"
"Nothing mom…!"
You stand in front of the door that you want to open it since you were child! But It never happened….
I can't write anymore…I can't. Whatever I want to write, it just lives for only 2 sentences. No more, no less... It's just like that I'm in a very dark tunnel with thousands of deadly traps and hollowly shadows and a gigantic monster at the end…. That its very murky breath flies around my head and sucks out my vision and imagination….There is nothing I can do…. I can feel it… I can feel…cold as a razor blade, dry as a funeral drum….It just getting closer and closer, and The darkness is getting deeper more and more…I feel there are millions of worms in my head. Wiggling and trembling …trying their best to eat my fantasies…I want to fly…. But I got nowhere to fly to. In the absolute silence, I hear the shadows murmuring:" Bring the boy back home…". And the monster answered….i didn't expect it! But it answered…to my very surprise its voice was…so delicate...:
"OK….just a little pinprick. There will be no more "aaaaaaaagh"!
But you may feel a little sick…
Can you stand up?... I do believe it's working…Good!
That will keep you going through the show.
Come on, it's time to go…"*
You are very angry! You try to catch your breath! There is no one in the room…and you are sitting behind your desk. There is a paper in front of you….You curse it! Again you couldn't write more than 2 sentences…You scramble it and throw it into the bin…When you want to go out of the room, You look at it….in a very strange angle you can see the title...:
"When the tigers broke free"
Footnote: I wrote this short story completely out of being inspired by "The Wall" album by Pink Floyd.
The lyrics in the middle is not mine. I'm not in that level yet :D it is from :"Comfortably numb" song- "The Wall" album-Pink Floyd.
Again, The title of the story is not from my mind ;) It's one of the Pink Floyd's song. And I myself know that this is more weaker than the other ones but IT WAS INSPIRATION. :d
